v0.2.1

Improves EXIF handling with a consistent metadata response across iOS and Android.

⚠️ Breaking change: getExifFromPath() now returns a new result structure.

Highlights

  • Adds normalized cross-platform metadata under normalized
  • Preserves platform-specific native EXIF tags under raw
  • Supports local paths, file:// URIs, Android content:// URIs, HTTP(S) URLs, and Base64 Data URIs
  • Extracts camera make, model, and software information on iOS
  • Normalizes GPS coordinates into decimal latitude, longitude, and altitude values
  • Adds an interactive example app for picking a photo and inspecting its EXIF metadata
  • Updates the iOS example to build with current Xcode and CocoaPods deployment-target requirements

Breaking Changes

getExifFromPath() no longer returns a flat EXIF object.
