v0.99.0
Install or update: npm i -g cotal-ai@0.99.0
Changes in this release
- Telemetry counts a person once. The settings file with the install id now lives in the OS user's own Cotal directory (
~/.cotal/telemetry.json, or%LOCALAPPDATA%\Cotalon Windows), whichCOTAL_HOMEno longer redirects, so every workspace one person runs under their own account reports the same install id instead of a new one perCOTAL_HOME. Atregular, thecommandandinstallevents carry a newaccountfield: a sha256 hash of the IdP URL and subject id of the home's cached sign-in, cut to 32 hex characters, so one person on several machines counts once; the id itself is never sent, and the field isnullwithout a sign-in.cotal telemetryreports the hash. A level set earlier in aCOTAL_HOMEfile is not read any more; set it again withcotal telemetry <level>. cotal attachkeeps reconnecting when the user-auth service does not answer its base bearer exchange, as it already did for the manager-caller exchange and an unreachable broker. The base exchange's failure was classified as a permanent refusal, so a reconnect that reached a slow or restarting auth service exited withthe user-auth service ... did not answerinstead of trying again. A first attach still exits on it, and a refused base exchange or a sign-out still ends a reconnect.
