• A failing grain call no longer takes the whole kernel process down when the failure comes from a storage driver. A MongoDB wait-queue-full error during a start-up burst had no Orleans codec, so writing the response threw where nothing could catch it and the pod exited with code 139, repeatedly while starting. Such failures now reach the caller as an InvalidOperationException that names the original exception type and keeps its message.
