Version 2.1.5

Changed

Multi-column index limits

  • Removed hard-coded limits when creating Biscuit indexes over multiple columns, allowing
    more flexible index definitions.

Fixed

Index definition validation

  • Restricted indexing to text-based datatypes.
  • Support for non-text datatypes has been removed to ensure correct operator semantics,
    planner behavior, and index consistency.

Expression indexing

  • Biscuit now raises an explicit error when attempting to create an index on an expression
(e.g., lower(col)), which is not currently supported. This prevents silent
misconfiguration and enforces column-based indexing semantics.

Note: Biscuit currently supports indexing base columns only. Expression indexing
may be revisited in a future release.
