Novedades

• Folio en español e inglés. Sigue el idioma de Windows; se puede cambiar en Ajustes → General → Idioma. También el instalador.
• IA en tu equipo, opcional. Actívala en Ajustes → IA (básica para equipos de 8 GB o avanzada para 16 GB o más). Funciona sin Internet y tus documentos no salen de tu equipo:
  • Resumir el documento, con las páginas de donde sale cada idea.
  • Preguntar al documento: las respuestas llevan a la página de donde salen.
  • Buscar por significado, aunque el documento use otras palabras.
  • Traducir y mejorar textos: más claro, más formal, más sencillo, más corto o sin faltas.
  • Datos personales: en Censurar, Folio encuentra DNI, NIE, cuentas, tarjetas, teléfonos, correos, nombres y direcciones, y tú eliges qué censurar.
  • Aplanar páginas curvadas al digitalizar fotos de libros o papeles doblados.
  • También sin tarjeta gráfica: la segunda pregunta sobre un documento empieza a responder en un par de segundos, porque la IA no vuelve a leerlo, y los documentos largos se resumen en una sola pasada.
• Nombre propuesto al digitalizar: por ejemplo «Factura 2026-10-03.pdf».
• Invítame a un café: en el menú … y en «Acerca de Folio».

Arreglado

• Un ajuste cambiado nada más abrir Folio podía volver a su valor anterior.
• En Ajustes, una etiqueta junto al borde podía hacer aparecer una barra de desplazamiento horizontal.

What’s new

• Folio in Spanish and English. It follows the language of Windows; you can change it in Settings → General → Language. The installer too.
• AI on your computer, optional. Turn it on in Settings → AI (basic for computers with 8 GB, or advanced for 16 GB or more). It works offline and your documents never leave your computer:
  • Summarize the document, with the pages each idea comes from.
  • Ask the document: answers take you to the page they come from.
  • Search by meaning, even if the document uses other words.
  • Translate and improve texts: clearer, more formal, simpler, shorter, or without typos.
  • Personal data: in Redact, Folio finds ID numbers, accounts, cards, phone numbers, emails, names, and addresses, and you choose what to redact.
  • Flatten curved pages when scanning photos of books or folded papers.
  • Also without a graphics card: the second question about a document starts answering in a couple of seconds, because the AI doesn’t read it again, and long documents are summarized in a single pass.
• Suggested name when scanning: for example “Invoice 2026-10-03.pdf”.
• Buy me a coffee: in the … menu and in “About Folio”.

Fixed

• A setting changed right after opening Folio could go back to its previous value.
• In Settings, a tooltip near the edge could add a horizontal scroll bar.
