Ten GPU shader worlds that react to every part of whatever you're playing.
Windows: download MusicVisualizer.exe (single 5 MB file, no installer) and run it. It lives in the tray and hears your PC's audio directly. Windows SmartScreen may warn because the exe isn't code-signed: More info → Run anyway.
Chrome / Edge extension: download music-visualizer-extension.zip, unzip it, open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, click Load unpacked and pick the unzipped folder.
No install: try it in your browser (WebGPU).
Highlights
- 10 looks: Bass Drop, Ferrofluid, Data Bus, Pulse Ring, Neon Horizon, Reef Arcade, Deep Wreck, Moonlight Piano, Aurora, Classic Bars
- Reacts separately to the kick, snare, hi-hat, tempo / beat phase, the drop, piano notes, section energy and brightness
- Mouse control, album-art colours, auto-pick a look for the music
- Frosted-glass UI on the GPU, dock anywhere, full screen
- About 0.5 ms per frame on the GPU; it runs at below-normal priority so games come first
