Node board: Arduino Uno motor shield (optional) as track driver; swap-friendly build Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Node board: booster input and RailSync driver as in the through-hole draft Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Node board: through-hole first; parts table follows the reviewed draft Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Node board: phases B0 to B8, booster mode and the DCC-to-LocoNet bridge, DCC-EX findings (hardware booster pass-through, SERIAL2_COMMANDS, ONOVERLOAD), link to the schematic draft Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Node board: the board as a DCC-EX command station with Hive-Rail extras; four ways to use it; board v2 with two ESP32s; must-have connections (main, programming, LocoNet-T and -B, CDE); multiMAUS and Z21 Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Loco register, slot translation and the LocoNet buffer FRED page section 14: the loco register by address, throttle numbers for throttle buses, slot ownership per LocoNet connection with translation, how a FRED gets and keeps a loco (dispatch, reconnect, purge, knob check), the Rocrail slot server finding, and dispatch as the next step. README-level status on Home and RocNet on the Mesh. Node board page: the LocoNet buffer as built. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

FRED: node board solution and the mesh-wide slot table The node board makes Hive-Rail the only slot master on each module LocoNet. New section 14 walks through a FREMO session, documents the implemented shared slot table with its single allocator, and lists what remains; section 7's slot blocks stay the target for network splits. The node board page links to it and asks NB-Q9 on response time. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Node board: LED 1 implemented, test pending 12 V Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Add the Hive-Rail node board concept An all-in-one ESP32 board per module: DCC-EX with DCC generation, LocoNet-B and LocoNet-T, transfer relays and sensor, stop and go buttons and status LEDs, with Hive-Rail on a Pi or PC. Covers the board/Hive-Rail split, a LocoNet tunnel over the DCC-EX link, the link heartbeat, the 2021 prototype board and open questions. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
