RumbleDash v3.1.0
The Polish Update. Goal labels stay readable as the numbers grow, and a progress bar that reaches its goal finally looks like it did something.
Highlights
- Short goal labels — once a goal passes a thousand it shortens itself:
1,000 reads 1k, 1,500 reads 1.5k, 999,999 reads 999.9k, then 1M, 2.5M, 1B and so on. The value is truncated at one decimal, so a goal is never shown as closer than it really is.
- Live counters stay exact — only the goal at the end of the bar is shortened; the current count is unchanged.
- Completed bars animate — reaching the goal starts a slow band of light sweeping across the fill with an inner glow, plus a one-shot flash at the moment the bar fills. Everything switches off under
prefers-reduced-motion.
- The app matches — the desktop dashboard shows the compact goal, previews how it will read on the overlay under each goal field, and sweeps a band of light across a full bar.
Changes
- Goal labels are compacted on the OBS widgets, the server status page and the desktop dashboard.
- Full progress bars animate on the widgets, the status page and in the app.
- Shared number formatting (
format.rs / numbers.js) keeps the browser and the app in agreement.
- Workspace version bumped to
3.1.0.
