AULA Studio 0.5.0 — model library, new models offline
Pre-releaseAULA Studio0.5.0 adds a native Device library and safer F75 identification.
Hardware configuration support remains limited to the original wired ANSI F75. The additional models are offline editors; their hardware access is disabled. This is an early-access prerelease, not universal AULA compatibility.
- Working model-bound local workspaces for F87 variants, F108, H108, S75 Pro, S99 Pro, F108 Pro and F98 Pro. Resource-derived layouts, local colors where recovered, keyboard/media assignments, resource-declared Fn intent, focused macro recording including numpad keys, and profile save/load/import/export/history.
-31 official catalog entries classified and12 eligible direct Windows packages acquired and hashed. Original factual findings and independently written code are public; proprietary binaries, assets and decompiler output remain private. - REA/Ghidra F87/S75 analysis and bounded static Hub-core inspection recovered identity, transport, lighting, keymap and partial macro structures. Offline G5 identity/S75 codecs are tested. Unresolved timing/channel/revision/persistence details are documented rather than guessed.
- The F75 controller now requires its exact six-byte model identity before configuration access, preventing other keyboards sharing its USB ID from inheriting the F75 controller. A bounded read verified the local F75 identity; no configuration writes were performed in this expansion.
Validation:111 Rust/44 frontend/12 Python tests, formatting, strict Clippy and production build pass locally. The Debian12/glibc2.36 native binary passed actual WebKit/Tauri model workflows (including downloaded JSON file contents), the existing F75 GUI/demo suite and8 Wayland/TTY startup cases on Arch. Software tests do not validate additional keyboard hardware. Distribution package checks are tracked in GitHub Actions.
Downloads: x86_64 Arch package, Debian/Ubuntu .deb, Fedora .rpm, portable GNU/Linux directory, source and landing-page archive. Verify SHA256SUMS. Native packages need GTK3/WebKitGTK4.1 and glibc2.36+; no npm/Rust/Windows/REA runtime is required. Run as a regular user. Additional models require no USB permissions for local editing.
Onboard macro upload, wireless configuration, full Windows UI parity, new-model physical configuration, broader revision coverage and power-cycle persistence remain incomplete or unverified. F2088 and mouse entries are research-only. See docs/MODEL_WORKSPACES.md, docs/MULTI_MODEL_RESEARCH.md and docs/FEATURE_MATRIX.md.
