0.1.2 — per-model reasoning levels

Choose a tag to compare

@DamonBao DamonBao released this 10 Sep 08:47

The input-modality fold becomes a Model capabilities fold: per model, input modalities as before, plus a reasoning-levels claim — the per-model field the Models page deliberately leaves to settings.yaml.

  • Three-way reasoning choice per model — Catalog default (field removed, inherits the installed catalog's capability), Not a reasoning model (reasoningEfforts: false), or Declare levels, which unfolds the seven levels as a tick box plus the wire spelling dispatch sends for it (max: ultra for gateways with their own vocabulary; a valueless off: is offered and sent as no parameter at all).
  • This is what puts levels in the picker — the composer's model picker lists exactly the levels a model declares, so a hand-declared gateway model gains its Low/Medium/High choices here and nowhere else in the UI.
  • Refused before the write — a declared set with no level beyond off, or a declared level with no wire value, names its row and keeps Save closed instead of answering a rejected settings mutation.
  • A seed that assumes nothing about off — switching to declared levels starts from low/medium/high; on the plain reasoning_effort wire an empty off is the same request as naming no effort, so it is left for the author to tick and spell.
  • One fold, one write — both claims share the fold because both write the same stored models array under one revision fence.
  • Locale namespace renamed to settings.models.modelCapabilities; card and controller moved to model-capability wording. Bilingual READMEs document the control and the YAML it writes.

0.1.1

Choose a tag to compare

@DamonBao DamonBao released this 09 Sep 10:10

Published on npm as @jcy2387/dsh-models-input-modalities@0.1.1.

Highlights

  • Follows the page live — the fold now subscribes to the Host's forwarded settings/document-updated invalidation of its own namespace (llm-pi-ai), so adding or removing a model in the catalog above updates the modality rows in place — no closing and reopening the section.
  • Catch-up reads — a commit that outruns a running read is caught by revision comparison and re-read until the fold is level; the card's own write is recognised by the revision it just committed and never echoes back as a refresh.
  • Drafts are never overwritten — a change that lands mid-draft parks until the draft settles: revert the edits and the fold re-reads silently, or save and the revision fence refuses the raced write and reloads behind a conflict notice. A reopen over an unsaved draft keeps it.
  • Fixes — stale error copy is cleared on silent-refresh and save successes.

v0.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@DamonBao DamonBao released this 09 Sep 07:35

First public release — published on npm as @jcy2387/dsh-models-input-modalities@0.1.0.

DSH Models Input Modalities is a DeepSeek Harness (DSH) Web client plugin that adds an Input modalities fold to every third-party (pi-ai) provider card on the Settings → Models page, declaring per model which inputs it accepts (whether images are allowed) — exactly the field the page's own forms do not expose.

Highlights

  • A three-way choice per model — Provider default, Text only, or Text and image (writes input: [text] / input: [text, image], or removes the field so the row inherits the installed catalog's modalities).
  • Revision-fenced writes — the whole models array is written back under the revision read when the fold was opened, with the same array semantics and conflict handling as the Models page's own cards: a concurrent edit surfaces a conflict notice and reloads instead of silently clobbering.
  • Field preservation — every other field of every model row survives verbatim, including fields the card never shows.
  • Localized UI — English and 简体中文 follow the Web UI's locale.
