The DataForTennis Live V2 reference client is available as inspectable TypeScript source, with browser and ESM builds, declarations and a Node.js 24 example.

The client maintains two subscriptions, merges delivery with bounded deduplication, and reconnects with replay from the last successfully processed cursor. It reports physical failures and fails closed on schema, identity and consumer errors.

Verification:

  • 19 client tests, including real browser CSP and native Node WebSocket.
  • Pinned schema, typecheck, build, release import and checksum checks.
  • Repeated builds and local/Linux CI artifacts match byte for byte.
  • Runtime modules and JavaScript bundles match the previously qualified implementation.

Inspect source and build from the tag. For the prebuilt files, download all attached files, including SHA256SUMS, then verify them with sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS (or shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS on macOS).

Keep private API keys on your backend. Persist application state, event IDs and the cursor atomically for crash recovery. Two connections share the existing infrastructure; this release does not establish a monthly uptime SLA.
