  • Changed: dependency refresh to the October 2026 latest. MCP SDK 1.25 to 1.32.1; zod 3 to 4; TypeScript 5.9 and 5.8 to 7.0 (the native compiler, backend and viewer); @types/bun 1.4.3. Viewer: lucide-react 0.562 to 1.59, mermaid 11 to 12.2, reactflow 11.10.1 to 11.11.4, React and React DOM 19.3.1, Vite 8.3.4, @vitejs/plugin-react 6.1.2, happy-dom 21, @types/node 26. The migrations were small: z.record takes an explicit key schema, .passthrough() became z.looseObject, the viewer's dead Github icon import (brand icons left lucide in 1.0) is gone, *.css side-effect imports are declared for the TypeScript 7 checker, and a test's socket chunk is wrapped in Buffer.from. MCP tool input handling is unchanged (unknown keys are still stripped, diagram node data still keeps extra keys); the advertised JSON Schema no longer states additionalProperties: false, which zod 4 omits for input schemas. Mermaid flowchart and sequence diagrams and React Flow diagrams were checked rendering in the viewer.
  • Changed: CI uses actions/checkout@v7 and pins Bun 1.4.3 (it floated on latest).
  • Fixed: a flaky CI timeout in the anchors test ("a 'callee' in a changed .ts file does NOT drift the Rust doc"). Each test builds a temp git repo and spawns git repeatedly, which a loaded Windows runner could stretch past Bun's 5s default; the file now sets a 30s budget like the repo's other subprocess-heavy suites.
  • Fixed: the test preload now also covers an explicit env: undefined. Bun treats it as "not given" and hands the child the process's original environment, so a caller forwarding an optional env could still leak GIT_DIR from a git hook into a fixture repo. The regression fixture covers Bun.spawn and Bun.spawnSync, in both call forms.
