Delivers roadmap milestone v0.8 (Advisory Runtime Routing).

Added

  • agenticlens.routing: snapshot ModelFit evidence and versioned policies for
    rule/score selection, additional fail-closed constraints, confidence thresholds,
    bounded fallback chains and provider-diverse failover. Advisory mode is default.
  • Explicit callback execution, host human-escalation handoffs, deterministic
    canary allocation and separately enabled, measured shadow calls. Only explicit
    safe-to-retry errors trigger fallback; other failures stop execution.
  • Local append/fsync routing journal, canonical policy/report hashes, versioned
    Lens-local schemas, routing result summaries, and routing decide/summary CLI.
  • Offline failover/shadow demo, regression tests and full routing guide.

Compatibility

  • Existing Evals, Chaos and Sidecar dependency ranges remain sufficient. MCP
    0.3.12 pins Lens 0.10.0 and exposes read-only lens.routing_decide.
  • Routing does not replace Sidecar authority or Tower approvals and does not
    change the normative AIOS contract. Callbacks own provider access/timeouts.
