Baseplate 0.22.0
Get from your first project to a result you can check in Roblox Studio, with clearer setup and safer updates.
- A guided first run. Add your game, choose a goal and connect your CLI. Each workspace and tool explains what it does and what to do next.
- Clearer Studio setup. Step-by-step Bridge and MCP setup, meaningful connection status and actionable recovery instructions. Open Cloud and Rojo remain optional for local work.
- A more useful Map. Explore existing scripts, directed dependencies and recognized remote calls, inspect their sources and turn suggested next steps into Board tasks.
- Better agent launches and results. Clear CLI selection, project configuration and provider errors. Playtest completion requires evidence from the current session and project; a stale or claimed PASS cannot silently complete a test task.
- Safer updates. Visible progress, retry and deferred restart, protection for active work and profile recovery. A failed Windows installer launch keeps Baseplate open. Store installations use Microsoft Store updates; Mac installations show the manual DMG path.
- Polish and fixes. Transparent Windows taskbar icon variants, simpler DataOps edits and fixes across Board, snapshots, Regression, Verify and team workflows. Mac packages now include the native terminal dependency for each architecture, fixing the missing dependency in the previous Intel build.
Your AI provider's subscription, authentication and usage limits still apply. Claude organization restrictions, retired Gemini personal Code Assist access, Cursor rate limits and a signed-out Antigravity account require action with the provider; Baseplate cannot remove those restrictions.
macOS: these DMGs are not Developer ID signed or notarized. Updates are manual. After replacing the app, macOS may ask you to approve access to the existing Baseplate Safe Storage Keychain item with your Mac login password. Do not delete that item. See the Mac installation guide.
Microsoft Store availability follows Microsoft's certification and rollout, independently of the GitHub release.
