DisplayXR Runtime v2.44.0
Highlights
On desktop Linux, the runtime-drawn depth cursor now uses the user's own cursor theme (left_ptr, loaded via a dlopen'd libXcursor) at the real backing scale of the monitor the window is on, instead of a half-size procedural arrow on HiDPI outputs. No new .deb dependencies: without libXcursor the cursor falls back to the arrow.
Features
- feat(cursor): desktop Linux draws the user's cursor theme at the real backing scale (#2102) (#2112). Theme/size come from
XCURSOR_THEME/XCURSOR_SIZE, then GNOME'scursor-theme/cursor-size, then the default theme at 24. vk_native passes the window's monitor scale, withXft.dpi / 96as the fallback.
Other
- chore(versions): bump runtime → v2.43.5
