Goals

Divi to implement a Lottery Block reward system
The Lottery Block will be used as an incentive to update the Blockchain as frequently as possible.
The Lottery Block system will be designed to increase participation and security in the Divi P2P network by motivating the Divi community to maintain their Divi coins in the ecosystem and off of exchanges.

Background and strategic fit

The Divi Lottery Block reward system is strategic to ensuring loyalty and participation on the Divi within the ecosystem.

The lottery Block reward system will be a Divi feature within the P0 rollout.
The Lottery Block will be run by the community, so no central authority exists to choose the Lottery Block winner.

Percentage of reward per Block - 1/2 Coin selected from every Block created (one per minute)
Number of 'One Big' rewards per week - One big Lottery winner selected each week. Estimate is 2520 Divi Coins
Number of 'small' rewards per week - Ten smaller winners per week. Estimate is 252 Divi coins.
Eligible to Win - To be eligible to win the Block Lottery, a participant must actively be staking 100 or more coins or Masternode running.
No Limits to Lottery Block wins. - There are no limits Lottery Block participators wins.
Increase of multiple staked Wallets increases probability - Owning multiple staked Wallets or more than one Masternode increases probability of winning Lottery Block.
Notify user of lottery block reward - Send lottery block win notification to user's wallet
Notify community of lottery block reward - Send notification to every wallet of the lottery winner's addresses and corresponding names.
