Trapezoidal Method Rust Script v1.0.0 Release
We are excited to announce the release of the Trapezoidal Method Rust script version 1.0.0! This script allows you to numerically integrate a function using the trapezoidal rule, implemented in the Rust programming language.
Features
- Trapezoidal Method Implementation: Numerically integrate a function using the trapezoidal rule.
- Flexible Input: Define your own function and integration limits.
- Rust Language: High-performance implementation in the Rust programming language.
- Efficient and Accurate: The approximation accuracy depends on the number of iterations.
NOTE:
The script does not handle division-by-zero cases, use a very small number instead (e.g 1e-15)
How to Use
- Download the source code and edit your function into main()
- Compile the rust file
rustc trapezoidal_method.rs
This binary contains an example function which you can test for different intervals
Contributions
We welcome contributions to enhance the functionality and performance of the script. If you find any issues or have suggestions for improvement, feel free to open an issue or submit a pull request.
