Soleanna 0.1.0: first public version

The first public version of Soleanna (sonic06-recomp), an unofficial PC port of the PS3 version of Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) by static recompilation. It's a work in progress; see the README for what works and what doesn't.

Download: sonic06-recomp-0.1.0-dcdfda8.zip below. It holds the source and Launcher.exe at its root, and nothing from the game: you need your own BLES00028 disc and RPCS3. Unzip it, run Launcher.exe, open Setup and press Set up everything.

In this version

• The title, menus and movies, and the story to Soleanna's town; all stage and boss entries start without a crash in one-minute tests
• Wave Ocean at close to 60 fps; story scenes at the game's 30 fps cap; internal resolution up to 4K, with supersampling above the window
• The Soleanna launcher: disc copy, decryption with your RPCS3, build tools, FFmpeg, SDL2, the build, updates and bug reports, in ten languages
• Keyboard and mouse with a PC layout and a mouse camera, remappable; controllers through SDL2

Not yet

• No stage has been played to the end by a person
• Tested on one Windows PC only; weaker GPUs, AMD and Intel, and a clean PC have not been tried
• No real controller tested yet
