Major Features Added

  • Added discovery mode - enabled via config OR ./fscache discovery start (adhoc)
    • Discover mode logs process access into the database, giving you an idea of what is accessing your files
    • You can read data from the database via ./fscache discovery stat
    • By default this feature is disabled, enable it adhoc with start (stop it with stop)
    • There is a very very very minor performance hit, basically impossible to tell (10's of us for non-cached proc hits), so you can turn this on and off at your leisure - I can't stress how minor this performance hit is especially with caching

Major Code Updates

  • Refactored code so that all cache ops are isolated in CacheIO, this greatly enhances my ability to add modular features in the future

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Ctrl+C interrupt not cascading properly
  • Cleaned up some comments
