- Claude Code onboarding: relai init adds CLAUDE.md (imports AGENTS.md) and a SessionStart hook that loads the handoff.
- Handoff format v0.4: says when Beads tasks cannot be read (fresh clone, no bd) and shows the .beads/issues.jsonl snapshot instead of 'Ready: 0'.
- The installer verifies the archive's SHA-256 against checksums.txt and refuses on a mismatch.
- SECURITY.md and CONTRIBUTING.md.
