System state changed event

Triggered when there is a change in the state of a watched system.

When using this event in the Speech responder the information about this event is available under the event object. The available variables are as follows:

  • {event.match} - The name of the pattern that this event matched

  • {event.newstate} - The new state of the system

  • {event.oldstate} - The old state of the system

  • {event.system} - The name of the system

To respond to this event in VoiceAttack, create a command entitled ((EDDI system state changed)). VoiceAttack variables will be generated to allow you to access the event information.

The following VoiceAttack variables are available for this event:

  • {TXT:EDDI system state changed match} - The name of the pattern that this event matched

  • {TXT:EDDI system state changed newstate} - The new state of the system

  • {TXT:EDDI system state changed oldstate} - The old state of the system

  • {TXT:EDDI system state changed system} - The name of the system
