Transfer, file menus, file preview and user management - plus many fixes in security and robustness.

Highlights

  • Transfer with a basket (source -> destination): collect files and folders from any folder, go to the destination and Copy here / Move here - or Download as ZIP. Replaces the Exchange area card.
  • File features below the table work: select all / none / inverse, basket, COPY / MOVE / ZIP to a destination, DELETE, Property, DOWNLOAD, UPLOAD.
  • File preview (mouse on a file icon): images, video, audio, fonts, code with syntax colours, PDF, Word / ODT / PowerPoint / RTF / epub text, CSV / Excel / Calc tables, ZIP and tar file lists, hex of other files.
  • File and folder menus (mouse on a name, right-click, keyboard or long press): view, download, properties, rename / move, copy, ZIP, unpack, synchronize, delete, new folder.
  • Program menu (right-click outside a row): Users, Change my password, Remove / restore restrictions, Help, About, Log out.
  • Users and write folders: administrators manage accounts in the program (saved in fe-users.php); each account has its own write folders.
  • Fast folder tree: sizes are counted afterwards in the browser and cached - only the current branch at once.
  • Long work is not stopped after 30 s (up to $fe_max_time, default 300 s).
  • No session timeout while a page is open ($gbl_SessionKeep).
  • Login safety: limit on failed logins, server-checked slider, password change logs out other sessions, logout with token.
  • Keyboard, touch and dark theme everywhere. Hex view and Develop cards removed.
  • Bundled php2html (Clever-Html-Engine) 1.7.5.

Updating from 2.0.0

  1. Copy all files over the old ones, also the new fe-preview.js, fe-tree.js and _trans.sys.json. Keep your settings in folder-explorer.php.
  2. $auth_users has a 4th field: the write folders of each account ([''] = everything, missing = the shared folder _exchange) - or create the accounts in the program (Users).
  3. The Exchange area card is now the Transfer card.
