What's new in 0.14.3

  • Memory: Remember, Memorize and Review always finish while the Memory model answers, and nothing
    ends up in Unsorted.
  • Memory: What you type is saved as you wrote it. If the connection drops while saving, the app
    tells you whether it saved.
  • Forget: Now deletes a conversation for good, transcript included. Conversations forgotten before
    this update are deleted too.
  • Rooms: A room with 20 remembered conversations asks for Memorize before a new one.
  • Models: Claude Haiku 5.5 joins the list and the Claude 4.x models leave it. Conversations on them
    keep going.
  • Models: GPT-6.1 Sol is ChatGPT's new default. To keep GPT-6 Sol, choose it again in Settings, AI
    setup.
  • Skills: Public GitHub skills and the featured skills no longer need Git. A changed skill waits for
your review before a room uses it.
  • Connectors: A custom connector can send its key in a header of its own. Figma leaves the list,
since it lets only approved apps connect.
  • Web search: The private search engine finds results again, now with Bing and Yahoo, and keeps
itself up to date. It also runs on Colima, Rancher Desktop and Podman.
  • Gateways: Setup says why a gateway refused, and changing a gateway's address asks for its key
    again.
  • Fixed: Leaving a room mid-answer no longer asks first, and "Delete room" is now "Archive or
    delete".
  • Fixed: Cmd+V works in the Mac folder picker, and connector sign-in screens show exxperts.
  • Fixed: Scheduled tasks in conversations started by Remember or Forget run again.
  • Security: The app ships exactly the package versions we test and scan. 0.14.1 and 0.14.2 had
picked up others, including an FTP library with a known issue.
  • Security: Connector sign-ins stay with the server that issued them, and the sign-in token stays
    out of the server log.

Prebuilt Exxperts archives with a vendored Node runtime. No Node, npm, or Git needs to be installed on the target machine; unpack and run.

Desktop app (window + tray around the same local server). Both desktop builds are signed — the macOS app is notarized by Apple, the Windows binaries are publisher-signed by Exxeta AG — so neither platform shows an unknown-publisher prompt on first launch:

Platform Download
Windows x64 installer exxperts-setup-0.14.3.exe
Windows x64 portable exxperts-desktop-0.14.3-win-x64.zip
macOS Apple Silicon exxperts-desktop-0.14.3-mac-arm64.dmg (or the -mac-arm64.zip) — the macOS assets are attached within minutes of this release going live (they are uploaded from the signed build)

The versionless copies of the same files (exxperts-desktop-mac-arm64.dmg, exxperts-setup-win-x64.exe, ...) exist so releases/latest/download links always point at the newest release; they have their own lines in SHA256SUMS.txt.

Server archives (the exxperts command, for terminal use or the one-line installers):

Platform Download
Windows x64 exxperts-0.14.3-win-x64.zip
macOS Apple Silicon exxperts-0.14.3-darwin-arm64.tar.gz
Linux x64 exxperts-0.14.3-linux-x64.tar.gz

Verify your download (--ignore-missing checks only the file you downloaded):

shasum -a 256 --ignore-missing -c SHA256SUMS.txt

(On Windows PowerShell: (Get-FileHash exxperts-0.14.3-win-x64.zip -Algorithm SHA256).Hash and compare against the archive's line in SHA256SUMS.txt.)

Checksums are computed in CI from the tagged commit; each archive also passed a bare-machine smoke test on its target OS before this release was published. The macOS desktop lines are appended to SHA256SUMS.txt when the signed macOS assets are attached.
