Releases: EZvac-Plugin/EZdebugPlus
Release list
EZdebug+ 0.2.1
Ready for EZvac ALPHA 3.2's air quality and wind.
Requires EZvac ALPHA 2.2 or newer, on Paper or Purpur 1.21.1 with Java 21. Replace the 0.2.0 jar in
plugins/with this one. On EZvac 3.2 you need this version.
Fixed
-
Debug vision stopped working near EZvac 3.2's new devices. An air monitor sign, a cherry-button air sensor or a bamboo-button wind sensor made it throw an error every tick. Now:
- air monitors are framed like thermometers;
- air and wind sensors, like every sensor, get no frame;
- air purifiers are framed like dehumidifiers and humidifiers.
Any kind of device a later EZvac adds is drawn the same way instead of breaking vision.
Nothing else changed: your config.yml and everything from 0.2.0 work as before.
Everything is in the changelog.
EZdebug+ 0.2.0
Debug vision while linking, for EZvac ALPHA 3.0's new link tool.
Requires EZvac ALPHA 2.2 or newer, on Paper or Purpur 1.21.1 with Java 21. Link-tool vision needs EZvac ALPHA 3.0; on 2.2 everything else works as in 0.1.0. Replace the 0.1.0 jar in
plugins/with this one.
Hold the link tool, see the system
-
Debug vision while you hold EZvac's link tool, with no potion, for as long as it's in your hand. It needs
ezdebug.useorezvac.admin. -
The system the tool has selected stands out in red, only for you:
- its signs are framed in red;
- its equipment gets a red box on top of its usual outline;
- each of its vents gets a red marker, even while idle.
Everything else keeps its normal colours, so you see exactly what you're linking to, and what belongs to the house next door.
-
The Debug Potion is unchanged. A running potion keeps its timer while you hold the tool, and milk ends the potion, not the tool's vision.
Configuration
Two new settings in config.yml. An existing config doesn't need them (they default as below); add them to change them:
link-tool: true: set it tofalseto switch tool vision off;colors.selected: "#FF4444": the colour of the selected system.
Everything is in the changelog.
EZdebug+ 0.1.0
The first release of EZdebug+, an official addon for EZvac: a Debug Potion that shows EZvac's devices at work.
Requires EZvac ALPHA 2.2 or newer, on Paper or Purpur 1.21.1 with Java 21. Drop the jar into
plugins/next to EZvac.
The Debug Potion
/ezdb debug gives you one (admins only: ezdebug.use). Drink it, and for 8 minutes:
- every EZvac sign gets a coloured frame: a ring of specks around its board, in a colour for its kind;
- every piece of equipment glows with an outline you can see through walls: grey while stopped, cyan while cooling, orange while heating;
- working vents puff a little cloud, cyan or orange, while their system cools or heats, and so does running equipment.
Only you see any of it. Night Vision shows the countdown and helps in dark plant rooms.
- Ending it: milk, like any potion; dying; or
/ezdb off. - Relogs: a relog keeps the time you have left.
- Someone else:
/ezdb debug <player>gives them one.
| Device | Colour |
|---|---|
| Thermostats | aqua |
| Thermometers and hygrometers | white |
| RPM monitors | yellow |
| Settings panels | pink |
| Sensor hubs | green |
| Dehumidifier and humidifier signs | blue |
| Equipment | grey stopped, cyan cooling, orange heating |
Everything is in plugins/EZdebugPlus/config.yml: the duration, how far it reaches (32 blocks), how often it redraws, the countdown effect and every colour. See the README.
Built only on EZvac's public API, which makes it a complete example of an addon that reads every device: see the API guide.
