The assistant can read your saved meals. The plan with solved weights, the prep pots, the shopping list, recipes, your profile and the food table are readable by the meals chat, voice, and background helpers, so "how much chicken breast does this plan need" is answered from the data instead of guessed.
Read-only code sandbox. The assistant can write short scripts that read your data and compute over it (sums, comparisons). The sandbox cannot write anything and has no network.
Shopping list and prep card show the amount used. When a plan uses only part of a pack, the line reads "about 340 g needed · 1 pack (about 600 g)" instead of just the pack size. Spices under a gram read "a pinch"; a meal lists each food once.
A new plan starts a fresh trip. Confirming a plan clears the old list's crossed-off lines, swaps, ticks and "trip done" mark. Re-solving the same plan (for example after a weight change) keeps them. The chat reads the latest plan on every turn, and a device on an older plan can no longer bring it back when syncing.
Cooking oil. Tell the assistant which oil you cook with; stir-fry and sauté dishes use it, with its own nutrition and shopping line. Dressing and flavour oils keep their own.
Neutral kitchen and pantry. Only a stove with pots and a microwave are assumed; any other appliance counts when your profile names it. Rice has a pressure-cooker and a stove route. Only salt, pepper, sugar and cooking oil are assumed to be at home; other seasonings go on the shopping list.
Eating-day steps. A meal that eats from a prepped box shows one line on its day card ("Heat the beef box 3 min, stir-fry the bok choy 4 min"), and opens to "Have out" plus a few plain steps written in the dish library, not by a model. A note at the top of today lists what to do tonight for tomorrow (thaw fish or meat, load the soy-milk maker).
Recipe wording. Doneness by sight and touch, concrete pressure-cooker water amounts, no thermometer.
Stored data
Recipes and prep steps already written are written again once, because the wording rules changed.
Your saved plan and shopping list are read as they are. A plan saved with a food twice in a meal shows it once.
Known limitations
Not yet tried on iPhone or iPad: the code sandbox in the app's web view, the eating-day line and steps, and the fresh-trip shopping flow.
Eating-day steps are written in Chinese and English; other languages show English.
The code sandbox needs bun run wasm in a development checkout.
Kitchens without a steamer do not get the steamed dishes.
