What's new

• Synesthesia scene control over OSC (Synesthesia Pro licence): link chip, host and ports, Groove / Breakdown / Drop scene pools, Next scene / Hold scene / Fire bang 1, Import from Synesthesia, and a log of every message.
• Scene launches land on the same beat as the clip transition they pair with: the start of the breakdown crossfade and the drop downbeat.
• New dock MIDI Director: learn mode maps MIDI notes and CCs to OBS hotkeys across the suite.
• Windows-only packaging; the zip is built by CI.

Install

The suite zip (director-1.0.0-windows-x64.zip) installs Clip Director and Palette Director together. To install this plugin on its own: close OBS, copy the clip-director folder from the zip into C:\ProgramData\obs-studio\plugins\, start OBS. The log shows [clip-director] plugin loaded successfully (version 1.1.0). Full steps: INSTALL.txt.

Known limitations

• The Synesthesia OSC round trip has not yet been verified on hardware; the Scene lead default is 0 ms until scene-load latency is measured (a fix release follows). MIDI Director has been exercised idle only, without a MIDI device attached.

Provenance: this release moved here from EnZhm/scene-director (formerly the clip-director repo) on 2026-10-29. The assets are byte-identical to the original 1.1.0 release (sha256 below).
