What's New

Configurable Content Width

Control the max content width for editor, preview, and HTML export via the Content width field in the metadata editor (toolbar button), or via maxwidth in YAML frontmatter.

Examples:

  • 48em, 60em, 80em — specific widths
  • 100% — fill available space (auto-narrows in split mode)
  • none — no constraint at all

When not specified, defaults remain unchanged (40em editor, 36em preview).

UI

  • New Content width field in the Layout section of the document metadata editor
