  • Kinora's own player. Play now opens the video inside Kinora, over the whole window, with VLC's engine: hardware decoding, 4K and HDR included.
    • Play/pause, back 10 s and forward 30 s, seek bar, volume and mute, full screen.
    • The audio track and the subtitles from two menus: the tracks in the file and the .srt files next to it.
    • Keys: Space play/pause, ← → seek, ↑ ↓ volume, M mute, F or double click full screen, A / S next audio track / subtitle, Esc back.
    • It starts again where you stopped (past the first minute, with "Start over"), and marks the movie or episode watched at 90%.
  • Settings → Playback: Kinora's player, or the app the system opens videos with.
  • On Windows VLC's engine comes with Kinora (the setup grows by about 20 MB). On macOS and Linux Kinora uses the VLC installed on the computer; without it, Play opens the system's player.
  • The licenses of LibVLCSharp and VLC (LGPL 2.1, GPL 2.0) are in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt.
