How the sync feature work? #1520
|
I have actually managed to sync (pair) my computer and my phone. Now the question is, how do they sync? I have a home wifi connection, and both my devices are always connected to it. Now, do they sync automatically when I open Flow tube on my PC, or do I have to manually sync them every time? |

In the current Android and desktop implementations, this is a manually started transfer session, rather than an always-connected sync relationship. Being on the same Wi-Fi makes the devices reachable; opening the PC app doesn't itself start another transfer. For another sync, open the sync screen on both devices, choose the sending/receiving direction and data, connect using the QR/code, and complete the confirmation steps. Once a transfer finishes, later changes aren't continuously pushed to the other device; start another session when you want to transfer them. The Android This is based on the current source on both sides; I haven't tested your particular installed versions on devices. |
