WebWindows 12 10H10 - Build 2610135

Build 2610135 introduces a redesigned Lock Screen, expanded sign-in protection through Windows Security, live weather integration, and additional interface improvements throughout WebWindows 12.

This update focuses on functionality introduced or improved since Beta Build 2610130.

What's New

PIN Security & Sign-in Protection

Windows Security now includes functional PIN Security settings integrated with the new sign-in experience.

  • Create and change a local sign-in PIN.
  • Configure PIN requirements and schedules.
  • Choose between Standard PIN, PIN + Defender Key, Defender Key Only, and Adaptive sign-in modes.
  • Require Defender Key verification before modifying protected security settings.
  • Use additional authentication options, including Morse-code PIN entry and bootup-only PIN requirements.

The selected settings affect supported sign-in methods through the new Lock Screen.

Redesigned Lock Screen

10H10 introduces a Windows 11-inspired Lock Screen with a separate account sign-in interface.

  • PIN and local password authentication.
  • Account names and profile pictures synchronized with Settings.
  • Redesigned sign-in controls and input fields.
  • New loading animation and Welcome transition.
  • Temporary lockout after repeated incorrect sign-in attempts.
  • Dynamic Lock Screen backgrounds synchronized with the desktop wallpaper.
  • Alternative backgrounds loaded from the Login-wallpapers directory.

Live Weather Integration

Weather functionality has been expanded across the taskbar and Lock Screen.

  • Live weather data powered by Open-Meteo.
  • Current temperature, humidity, wind speed, and apparent temperature.
  • Lock Screen weather widgets with a three-day forecast.
  • Expanded taskbar weather flyout with hourly and daily forecasts.
  • Weather icons that adapt to actual conditions and day/night information.
  • Manual refresh functionality.
  • Location-based forecasts when browser location permission is available.
