What's new

  • The connection card says "Preparing" as soon as you tap Connect; every OpenVPN location change shows its progress.
  • From Android 11, always-on VPN comes back on its own after the app is stopped by a crash or by Android, even when the quick settings tile or another component restarts the app first (Android 10: without that fallback, untested).
  • OpenVPN no longer cuts transfers when the phone switches back to Wi-Fi.
  • Android 11: no more crash at startup. Android 8 to 11: no more crash when the VPN service is stopped right after it starts.
  • 200 % text: confirmation dialogs no longer cut words.
  • Less work while connected and on the Account tab.

Nouveautés

  • La carte de connexion indique « Préparation » dès le tap ; chaque changement d'emplacement OpenVPN affiche sa progression.
  • Depuis Android 11, le VPN permanent revient seul après un arrêt de l'app par un plantage ou par Android, même quand la tuile des réglages rapides ou un autre composant relance l'app en premier (Android 10 : sans ce secours, non testé).
  • OpenVPN ne coupe plus les transferts au retour du Wi-Fi.
  • Android 11 : plus de plantage au démarrage. Android 8 à 11 : plus de plantage quand le service VPN est arrêté juste après son démarrage.
  • Texte à 200 % : les dialogues de confirmation ne coupent plus les mots.
  • Moins de travail pendant la connexion et sur l'onglet Compte.
