UI Overhaul

• Everything renamed to GRID0-ofw
• Redesigned Automatic mode with Windows Hotspot Setup box.
• Version shown in window title and top-left menu.

90DNS

• Added 90DNS settings recommendations for manual.

Fixed Bugs

• The Connection settings button in the Play tab now actually opens Settings > Connection.

New in this release

Auto Restart

If ZeroTier or Npcap is missing at startup, the app installs what you need and restarts itself. No closing and reopening.

Auto Join

After installing ZeroTier, the app connects you to the GRID0 network (8bd5124fd68185ec) on its own.

Auto Select

The relay picks the correct ZeroTier network adapter in settings by itself. If it misses, click refresh adapters and it selects it.

Auto Connect

The relay now runs its own DHCP server, so the Switch can stay on Automatic IP. No manual address to type in. Order matters:

1. Connect to your Switch 1/2 to your computer's Windows Mobile Hotspot.
2. Put the Switch in sleep mode or airplane mode.
3. Start the relay in Automatic (DHCP) mode.
4. Take the Switch out of sleep mode or airplane mode.

The Switch only asks for an address when it reconnects, so it has to wake up after the relay is already listening.

Known limitations

• Automatic mode needs the Windows Mobile Hotspot for now. On home Wi-Fi the relay can't hear the Switch fast enough, so use manual IP there.
• On macOS and Linux, Automatic mode is untested and we can't confirm it works. Prefer manual IP on both.

this version fixes a slightly odd bug that may appear for certain router configurations (it happened with testing on a switch 2 but im not sure if that truly is the cause.)

instead of just grabbing multiple mac addresses, itll find just ur switch's mac address and stay pointed to that

in less mumbo jumbo, that means more stability for you!

(currently just a windows build, ill upload the mac os one later, but you can also compile it yourself with build.md!)

first release of GRID0 Relay, theres stuff i still have to work on, but its functional enough to be used and downloaded at this stage!

the usage guide in the readme explains what to do for the most part.

(If you have Winpcap installed, now is a good time to uninstall it)

note for mac users
I dont actually have apple developer notation, so if it doesn't let you open it, just go to privacy and security in settings
and scroll down until you see "open anyway", click it and after this you wont need to do it anymore.
