SPO Tools v1.1

Choose a tag to compare

@GS1973 GS1973 released this 22 Jul 18:29

SPO Tools v1.1. Adds the CIP-136 rationale-witness step: the online client canonicalises a hand-authored vote rationale (URDNA2015, per CIP-100) and the air-gapped signer produces the CIP-100 author witness with the pool cold key, so a vote's on-chain anchor renders as a proper rationale instead of raw JSON. The signer only ever signs a canonical governance-metadata body, never a transaction. Assets: online and signer, each as glibc (x86-64), static musl (x86-64), and arm64 (Raspberry Pi). Verify downloads against SHA256SUMS.txt.

DRep Tools v1.1. Adds the CIP-136 rationale-witness step: the online client canonicalises a hand-authored vote rationale (URDNA2015, per CIP-100) and the air-gapped signer produces the CIP-100 author witness with the DRep key, so a vote's on-chain anchor renders as a proper rationale instead of raw JSON. The signer only ever signs a canonical governance-metadata body, never a transaction. Assets: online and signer, each as glibc (x86-64), static musl (x86-64), and arm64 (Raspberry Pi). DRep Tools v1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@GS1973 GS1973 released this 16 Jul 12:35

Air-gapped DRep (Delegated Representative) toolkit: an online client builds the
transaction, an offline signer holds the keys, and they exchange QR / UR
fragments — the DRep and payment keys never touch a networked machine.

Four operations: register, update (keep-alive), retire, and vote.

Downloads (Linux)

Three builds. Pick by platform:

  • glibc (x86-64) — drep-tools-online, drep-tools-signer. Standard build
    for modern distributions (glibc >= 2.34: Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, Fedora
    35+, RHEL/Rocky/Alma 9+, Arch, recent openSUSE).
  • musl (x86-64, static) — drep-tools-online-musl, drep-tools-signer-musl.
    Fully static; runs on any x86-64 Linux including older LTS releases, Alpine,
    and minimal/live environments. Use this if the glibc build reports
    GLIBC_x.xx not found.
  • arm64 (static) — drep-tools-online-arm64, drep-tools-signer-arm64.
    Fully static aarch64 for Raspberry Pi 3/4/5, Zero 2, and other 64-bit ARM
    boards on a 64-bit OS.

Verify downloads against SHA256SUMS.txt:

sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.txt

The online client and the signer are separate binaries. Run the signer on an
air-gapped machine. See the README and SECURITY.md for the security model and
the recommended setup.

@GS1973 GS1973 released this 13 Jul 14:19

SPO Tools v1.0 — Cardano Stake Pool Operator toolkit: an internet-connected client and an air-gapped signer.

Downloads (Linux)

Three builds of each binary are provided — functionally identical, pick the one for your machine:

  • x86-64, standard (glibc): spo-tools-online, spo-tools-signer — for modern distributions (glibc >= 2.34: Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12+, Fedora 35+, RHEL/Rocky/Alma 9+, Arch, recent openSUSE).
  • x86-64, static (musl): spo-tools-online-musl, spo-tools-signer-musl — fully static, no dependencies; runs on any x86-64 Linux, including older LTS releases, Alpine, and minimal/live environments. Use these if the standard build reports GLIBC_x.xx not found.
  • arm64 / aarch64, static (musl): spo-tools-online-arm64, spo-tools-signer-arm64 — fully static; for Raspberry Pi 3/4/5, Zero 2, and other 64-bit ARM boards running a 64-bit OS.

Verify against SHA256SUMS.txt:

sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.txt

Building from source

The source lives in this repository under spo-tools/, with the shared airgap-core/. For the air-gapped signer especially, building it yourself is the recommended, trust-minimizing path. See spo-tools/README.md.
