CraftDock 0.7.0 — Public Beta
CraftDock is now in Public Beta — no invite or tester access needed.
What's new since 0.6.3
- Open to everyone. The titlebar badge and docs no longer say closed beta; install and use it without requesting access.
- Hover highlights are instant everywhere. The sidebar highlight is now drawn as its own composited layer, so hovering a rail button turns it on the moment the cursor arrives and off the moment it leaves, no matter what the page behind it is doing. Every other button highlight in the app was made instant the same way.
- Instance data survives updates. Instances keep their mods, saves and configs across launcher updates.
- Many file operations moved to native Rust, with the JavaScript path kept as a fallback: screenshots, worlds, configs,
servers.dat, mod lists and server properties. - Safer archive handling. Modpack ZIP parsing is bounded, ambiguous and corrupt entries are rejected, linked paths are refused during override extraction, and mod toggling can no longer overwrite an unrelated destination.
- Faster disk scans and consoles, plus a fix for the crash on quit and for the dead Paper API.
- Offline UI fonts are bundled, so the launcher looks right without a network connection.
- Accessibility: buttons now carry
aria-labelandtitletext.
