A small follow-up to 1.6.1.

1.6.2 can play with 1.5.x and 1.6.x. The wire protocol is unchanged, but updating both players is recommended.

Fixes

  • The little connection tag in the top-right corner now grows to fit longer messages. "Controller ready! Your keyboard still works too." used to be cut off.

Confirmed

  • Switching from keyboard to controller has now been checked with a real Xbox controller. Start on the keyboard, press A on your controller at any time, and it becomes yours. Your keyboard keeps working, and all the button prompts switch to the controller's buttons.

Install with CupHeads.exe, or drop CupheadOnline.dll into Cuphead/BepInEx/plugins/CupheadOnline/. The main menu should show CupHeads v1.6.2 in the bottom-left corner.
