Standby Pro 1.1.0-preview.3

25 October 2026 · app1.1.0+4 · source and browser preview.

A paused focus timer retained its time but still said Ready when you are and offered Start focus. It now shows Paused and Resume focus. Reset, choosing a fresh duration and completion keep distinct states. Timer cadence, foreground-only scope, package identities and historical releases are preserved.

The existing injected-clock regression now checks pause hold, resumed countdown, reset, duration selection and completion. The total stays44 tests. Source CI passes all44 tests, clean analysis and web compilation. A clean compiled Chrome run at390×844 verifies the new pause/resume/reset feedback, no page errors and origin-only requests while weather is off. The supplied archive metadata records the exact source and file counts.

The issue was observed in an actual privately restored experimental SPM simulator bundle (build3, arm64/minimum-iOS15/ad-hoc). Fixed build4 compiled and was independently hash/mode-restored; its remaining native workflows are tracked separately. This source/web release is not a physical-phone, production-signing, VoiceOver/TalkBack or long-run power/display acceptance. No public APK/IPA is supplied. Earlier Android/default CocoaPods compilation evidence belongs to preview.2 source and is not relabelled as a new build.

Source · browser preview · simulator evidence and limits · remaining device gates.

Build the pinned source with Flutter3.41.9/Dart3.11.5:

git clone https://github.com/Ghostzy0/standby-pro.git
cd standby-pro
git checkout v1.1.0-preview.3
cd app
flutter pub get --enforce-lockfile
flutter analyze
flutter test
flutter build web --release --base-href /standby-pro/demo/ --no-web-resources-cdn

Verify release downloads against SHA256SUMS. Source and browser archives are recoverable release products; disposable debug CI checksums are not download manifests. Existing weather-service rights, foreground/no-alarm behavior and untested missing-glyph font fallback limits remain documented.

Release source f7d72ab4bb1df766723ac1094daece49cb46f087; compiled browser source 8ce8581c26e6d4ea68a38d6509eb835f8858ecfe. The release commit changes documentation only after that tested source; all app/CI inputs match.

Standby Pro 1.1.0 preview 2 — bundled notices and native CI

Standby Pro 1.1.0-preview.2

24 October 2026 · app 1.1.0+3 · source and browser preview, with native compilation evidence.

This packaging update includes the full app MIT notice in the bundle and existing open-source licences screen. Roboto's notice remains registered. It also adds focused keyboard, semantics, reduced-motion, large-text, platform-channel and licence regressions, plus pinned Flutter source/native CI. Existing display, timer, weather, preferences and package identities are retained. The historical baseline and earlier release assets are preserved.

The recorded toolchain is Flutter 3.41.9/Dart 3.11.5. Full source CI passes 44 tests, clean analysis and web release compilation. Initial unchanged native projects compiled as an Android debug APK and iOS simulator app; the dated evidence records their exact source/toolchains and disposable-artifact limitation. A separate local arm64/minimum-iOS15 SPM experiment uses modified project configuration and ad-hoc signing, with no developer/store identity. It is not an unchanged universal/iOS13 artifact.

Final native reruns at release source 1a21922f5d49790257c01e2106104f4acdd155f3 also passed analysis and all 44 tests each: Android debug compilation and iOS simulator compilation. The disposable Android APK reported SHA-256 f41058a82c82b376a3efb156ae15cce2d13907de005634be5e8f8dc0aa5ca68b; neither native output was retained or installed. This hash cannot recover the APK. No iOS bundle hash was recorded.

No APK/IPA is distributed by this release. A build/checksum is not physical-device or signing acceptance. Phone behavior, TalkBack/VoiceOver, install/update continuity, lock/unplug/background behavior and long-run battery/thermal/OLED remain in issue4. Weather's service rights and untested missing-glyph browser font fallback remain as documented for preview.1.

Build the recorded source using Flutter 3.41.9:

git clone https://github.com/Ghostzy0/standby-pro.git
cd standby-pro
git checkout v1.1.0-preview.2
cd app
flutter pub get --enforce-lockfile
flutter analyze
flutter test
flutter build web --release --base-href /standby-pro/demo/ --no-web-resources-cdn

Keep that web base path when serving, or rebuild with --base-href / for a local root. Native builds need the platform prerequisites and an explicitly controlled identity for phone installation. Compare downloadable source/web archives with the release SHA256 manifest; do not reuse a disposable CI debug checksum as a download manifest.

1.1.0 preview — bedside layouts, focus timer and honest data

Standby Pro1.1.0-preview.1

23 October2026 — improved source and web preview, separate from the preserved1.0.0 baseline. The existing repository/history/community and package ID remain. No production signed APK/IPA is supplied. Device/signing gates remain in issue#4.

What changes

Display, Layouts, Timer and Settings navigation; About/data status; original four faces/themes; reversible Quiet display. Local visual focus sessions support presets, pause/reset and clear no-alarm/background limits. Readable scrolling settings and enlarged-text display avoid the overflow found by tests.

Weather is off by default, supports four public cities, validates actual current/daily fields and timezone offsets, labels source/time/failure and rejects stale responses. Calendar is explicitly sample data and audio metadata unavailable. No personal-data permissions are requested. Preferences migrate the original v1 key defensively and writes/errors/disposal are handled. Pixel shifts happen by minute and stop under reduced motion. Android keep-awake is accurately foreground-only; implicit debug release signing is removed.

Bundled licensed Roboto fonts fix the Google font request observed in the browser walkthrough. Original third-party listing reference captures are excluded from the new distribution; historical Git is preserved. Adds package notices, setup/privacy/FAQ, security/contribution guidance and static public docs.

Verification and artifacts

Recorded Flutter3.41.9/Dart3.11.5, Apple Silicon macOS/Xcode27.1. Fresh remote clone of the app source: locked dependencies, analysis without issues, all34 tests, web release compilation passed. Chrome headless passed actual countdown/pause/reset, presets, settings/about/back, Quiet restore via Enter, desktop/mobile docs and390×844 app navigation. Tested weather-off Latin UI requests stayed on the preview origin. Three independent assisted review rounds and parent source/artifact checks are recorded in docs/audits and docs/evidence; they are not human approval.

Artifacts: versioned source archive, static web-preview archive including the landing/docs site and compiled Flutter demo, full dependency notices, build information, release notes and SHA256SUMS. Web is architecture-neutral browser code, not an Android/iPhone binary. CanvasKit/software-rendered headless performance is not native memory/battery acceptance.

Reproduce and use

git clone https://github.com/Ghostzy0/standby-pro.git
cd standby-pro
git checkout v1.1.0-preview.1
cd app
flutter pub get --enforce-lockfile
flutter analyze
flutter test
flutter build web --release --base-href /standby-pro/demo/ --no-web-resources-cdn

Serve the built preview at /standby-pro/demo/; for another location rebuild with the matching base-href. The static preview archive has landing pages at its root and demo/ beneath; mount its root at /standby-pro/ or rebuild the Flutter demo for a different path. It is not double-click/file:// compatible. Use a local HTTP server or the public GitHub Pages site. SDK/package licences are included; regenerate notices after dependency changes.

For Android installable builds, add JDK17/compatible Android SDK and your own release signing outside Git. The current host has JDK17 but lacks a complete Android platform SDK in its build setup. iOS needs Xcode/CocoaPods and physical signing; no native iOS display-control bridge is implemented. No developer-account purchase or new signing/permission prompt was attempted.

Update, uninstall and data

Preference key standby_settings_v1 is retained; old/invalid fields fall back safely and weather remains off on migration. Baseline and improved native builds share package identity and are alternative builds. Changing signing identity may require uninstalling and lose settings. Uninstall the app or clear browser site storage to remove local preferences; closing resets the temporary focus session. Weather requests send public-city coordinates and IP to Open-Meteo, whose free endpoint is noncommercial. No paid fallback, analytics, account or ads.

Remaining limitations

Physical Android/iPhone, production signing/update identity, VoiceOver/TalkBack, native keyboard/reduced-motion behaviour, charging/lock-screen/battery-saver, thermals and long-run OLED remain unaccepted. No Apple system StandBy/WidgetKit, real calendar/media metadata, automatic charging launch, background alarm, battery-life or burn-in guarantee. Arbitrary missing-glyph font fallback egress is outside the tested Latin UI path. Use24-hour default if you require an unambiguous visual period; the original12-hour face has no AM/PM ornament, while its semantic label includes the period.

AI setup prompt: “Clone Ghostzy0/standby-pro at v1.1.0-preview.1. Read CONTEXT.md and release notes, use Flutter3.41.9, run locked dependencies/analysis/tests, preserve package identity and report native signing/device gaps.”

1.0.0 baseline — preserved source, current checks

@Ghostzy0 Ghostzy0 released this 23 Oct 02:05

Standby Pro v1.0.0-baseline.1

Archival source prerelease, 23 October 2026. Exact app source at 9ce5e1676a1eae2681037d75eb354cd76addf207 (root VERSION 1.00, Flutter 1.0.0+1). The tag pins this historical commit; the separate documentation PR records today's evaluation. No app patch or redesign is included.

Verified now

Apple Silicon macOS, Xcode 27.1; Flutter 3.41.9 (00b0c91f06), Dart 3.11.5. In an isolated checkout of that SHA: flutter pub get --enforce-lockfile, flutter test (10 passed), flutter analyze (no issues). Flutter dependency resolution generated local iOS Podfile/config references; no app source modifications were used by tests. See docs/evidence/baseline-checks.txt on the documentation/improvement branches.

Contents and installation

The attached source archive includes exact tracked app/, LICENSE, README and VERSION from the baseline. Unrelated third-party reference screenshots are excluded from this distribution because redistribution rights are unknown; they remain in historical Git. GitHub's automatic full-tree archives may include historical reference captures; do not reuse those images as app artwork.

git clone https://github.com/Ghostzy0/standby-pro.git
cd standby-pro
git checkout v1.0.0-baseline.1
cd app
flutter pub get --enforce-lockfile
flutter test
flutter analyze

Use Flutter 3.41.9/Dart 3.11.5 for the recorded check. Android additionally requires JDK17, compatible Android SDK and Gradle; iOS requires macOS/Xcode, CocoaPods and signing for a phone. No APK/IPA is attached: this host initially lacks Java/Android SDK and CocoaPods, and no signing or physical device acceptance was attempted. The native Android release configuration currently uses debug signing, unsuitable for production distribution.

Known limitations

  • London-only weather; high/low are synthesized, not measured forecast extrema. No automatic refresh beyond initial request.
  • Calendar events and music metadata are synthetic examples; music transport attempts Android media keys without confirming an active session.
  • Android keep-awake applies while its window is visible, regardless of charging; label is misleading. No charging monitor, background service or lock-screen integration.
  • iOS has no system MethodChannel handler for keep-awake/brightness/media. No system StandBy/WidgetKit extension.
  • Settings load/write and async disposal paths need hardening. Responsive settings/short-screen layouts and assistive technology are not accepted on physical devices.
  • Burn-in shifting and minute cadence are software mitigations, not guarantees of battery life or OLED safety.
  • MIT covers original source, not arbitrary historical reference screenshots. Open-Meteo data/service has separate attribution and noncommercial free-endpoint terms.

Local preferences use standby_settings_v1. Save any desired settings before uninstalling; OS app-data removal clears preferences. Later improved builds retain the key; debug/release signing changes may require reinstall and lose local settings. No user data is uploaded by the app beyond its direct weather request.
