v1.2.6
v1.2.6 - 2026-05-20
Release metadata alignment patch for v1.2.6 packaging, compatibility, and release tracking surfaces, plus a nested Overleaf file writeback safety fix.
Fixed
- Fixed nested Overleaf file-tree path resolution for folder-list DOM layouts where a folder row and its child file list are siblings instead of DOM ancestors.
- Hardened writeback so Codex verifies the active CodeMirror document belongs to the requested project-relative path before applying edits.
- Forced a target-file reopen when the file tree selected path and the active editor document are out of sync, preventing edits intended for files such as
example/test.texfrom being applied tomain.tex.
Changed
- Bumped package, extension manifest, compatibility target, README release commands, and release tracking metadata to
1.2.6while keeping native protocol1. - Current release artifact names now resolve to
codex-overleaf-link-extension-v1.2.6.zip,codex-overleaf-native-host-v1.2.6.tar.gz, andcodex-overleaf-link-1.2.6.tgz. - Native host install remains
npm exec --yes codex-overleaf-link@1.2.6 -- install-native. - Native host diagnostics remain
npm exec --yes codex-overleaf-link@1.2.6 -- doctor. - Native host uninstall is
npm exec --yes codex-overleaf-link@1.2.6 -- uninstall-native.
