NodeUI Companion 2.0.1

Choose a tag to compare

@aguhl0614 aguhl0614 released this 03 Nov 20:50

Companion 2.0.1 restores compatibility with existing mobile app builds.

All /comfymobile/v1 endpoints are direct aliases for /nodeui/v1. Requests use the same handlers, access checks, and download jobs, including streaming uploads and file deletion. No redirects or app rebuilds are required for existing clients.

The package and release ZIP remain named nodeui_bridge and nodeui_bridge.zip.

Validation: 83 companion tests passed, including the complete HTTP/transfer suite against both API namespaces.

NodeUI Companion 2.0.0

@aguhl0614 aguhl0614 released this 03 Nov 20:34

Companion 2.0.0 renames the connector to NodeUI throughout:

  • Python package: nodeui_bridge
  • Installable archive: nodeui_bridge.zip
  • API routes: /nodeui/v1
  • Temporary files: .nodeui-*

Update the NodeUI app and companion together. Earlier app builds use the previous API paths. Windows and macOS installers move an old companion outside custom_nodes and preserve backups before installing the renamed package.

Download the named ZIP plus the installer for your platform into the same folder. See the installation guide.

Validation: 64 Python companion tests, 114 Swift networking tests, archive/source comparison, and macOS fresh-install, update, legacy migration, and rollback checks passed.

NodeUI Companion 1.4.1

@aguhl0614 aguhl0614 released this 23 Oct 00:51

The NodeUI companion now lives in the public Guhl-Design-Studio/nodeui repository.

Download comfymobile_bridge.zip and the installer for your computer into the same folder. Use the named companion ZIP, rather than GitHub's automatic source-code archives. Follow the installation guide.

Companion 1.4.1 includes full folder browsing, image thumbnails, device uploads, server-side URL downloads, file deletion, and CPU/RAM/GPU monitoring. Completed transfers use safe publication so concurrent uploads and downloads do not replace existing files.

Stop active generations before restarting ComfyUI after installation. The installers preserve a backup and do not restart ComfyUI automatically.

Validation: 63 companion tests passed; the seven-file ZIP matches the current runtime; macOS installation and update smoke checks passed.
