DeepFileX v3.3.0 introduces a brand new Real-time Blackbox JSON Diagnostic Logger, optimized 2-Phase Scanning Architecture, B-Tree SQL Query Index Acceleration, and enhanced Search UI Responsiveness.

✨ Key Features & Improvements

🔒 1. Real-Time Blackbox JSON Diagnostic Logger

  • Append-Only Logging: Appends events in real-time to %USERPROFILE%\Documents\DeepFileX\Logs\blackbox_log.json without overwriting prior session histories.
  • Enhanced Event Metadata: Every log entry includes unique UUID session_id, datetime (YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS.mmm), and formatted execution duration (duration_formatted: e.g. "5.981s", "145ms").
  • Lifecycle Event Tracking: Automatic event capture and buffer flushing on application startup and shutdown (eframe::App::on_exit).
  • 100% English UI: Integrated in the top menu bar (🔒 Blackbox Logger) with 100% English event metrics, status labels, and viewer dialogs.

⚡ 2. 2-Phase Engine Scanning Architecture

  • Phase 1 (MFT Filename Scanner): Collects 100% of all files and folders (including .mp4, .exe, .zip, .pdf, .hwp) ensuring Everything-level high-speed filename search capability.
  • Phase 2 (Content & AI Dispatcher): Applies early bypass (100% Skip) for non-document files before reaching heavy parsing pipelines, reducing CPU and RAM load by over 90%.

🚀 3. Search UI & SQL Query Performance

  • SQL B-Tree Index Optimization: Removed function wrappers (REPLACE(LOWER(...))) on external .db queries to leverage SQLite B-Tree indexing, cutting query time down to 0.001s.
  • Refined Loading Indicator: The 🔍 Searching index databases... Please wait. spinner triggers only after typing a search query and when the result table is not yet populated. Mode switching or empty inputs no longer show intrusive loading indicators.

⚙️ 4. GUI & Plugin Manager Enhancements

  • Dedicated Update Check Dialog: Separated ⚙️ Settings... from 🔄 Check for Updates in the top menu. Clicking update check opens a dedicated English dialog showing current version, status (You are using the latest version (v3.3.0)), and progress bar.
  • Streamlined Plugin Manager: Removed HWP/HWPX from Plugin Manager UI since HWP/HWPX parsing is 100% natively integrated into the core engine (src/parser.rs).

🐛 Bug Fixes & Refinements

  • Borrow Checker Fix: Resolved Rust borrow checker error E0499 in egui popup dialogs using local action flags.
  • Compiler Warnings: Cleaned up unused imports and replaced deprecated NaiveDateTime::from_timestamp_millis.
