AppBridge USB 0.1.0 beta
AppBridge USB 0.1.0 beta
Open an app already installed on a physical Android phone in a Windows window over USB. AppBridge USB uses scrcpy for display, input and audio, and adds a Windows setup interface, USB/package selection and session controls.
Downloads
- setup.exe: installer for the current Windows user, with Start menu shortcuts and an optional desktop shortcut.
- portable.zip: extract all eight files and open
AppBridge.exe. - payload.json: exact file inventory with individual SHA-256 hashes.
- SHA256SUMS.txt: checksums of the three release assets above.
Requires Windows 11 x64, .NET Framework 4.8 and a physical Android 12+ phone with authorized USB debugging. The phone must remain connected. Select Prepare components on first use to download and verify the pinned official scrcpy runtime. No Android app is bundled.
Included
- Select an installed Android package and create its own virtual display using the phone's size and density.
- Fullscreen, physical panel off and device audio options.
- F12 to enter fullscreen and Esc to leave it, scoped to the active session.
- Optional app restart to apply display scale; disabled initially.
- English guide and guía en español.
Beta status
Both executables and packages compiled locally; the launcher was observed without a phone. The portable inventory and file hashes were inspected. The initial GitHub Actions build also compiled and packaged successfully. End-to-end use through the new general GUI, actual setup installation/removal, interrupted downloads and broader device compatibility remain unverified. See release checks and the actual build workflow.
These artifacts are unsigned. Compatibility depends on the Android app, OS build and manufacturer. Physical panel off is separate from PIN locking. Device audio may include other apps and notifications. The launcher does not change Android app authentication, subscriptions or content protection.
