What's new

• New: Clean by App opens each month as a grid of photos and videos, split by week. Tick single files, a whole week or the whole month, drag a box over many, or Shift-click a range
• Photos and videos saved without a file extension (Zalo, Telegram, WhatsApp) now show real thumbnails and open large
• App index files (Zalo, Telegram) are kept out of the photo grid and the month counts; Telegram stickers and unfinished downloads are labelled
• Uses much less memory: less at launch, no more spikes when Duplicates reads large files, and memory goes back to macOS when the window closes
• Safer: Clean by App never offers Telegram's own database files, which have no file extension and could be listed with the media before
• The Trash page names the app of the last Clean by App session

• Sidebar: a spinner while a page is scanning, a dot when a result is waiting for you, and the Trash icon fills up when there is something in it.

• Low disk space alert takes any number of GB; 0 turns it off.
• Space Lens moved to the top of Advanced; Cleanup details now opens from Clean Now.
• Clickable text underlines on hover; buttons share one size.
• Fixed: the Clean Now button's idle animation kept the CPU at about 10% even with the window closed. It now breathes three times and rests.

• Full Disk Access reminder: when the permission is off, the home page says so and a button opens the right System Settings pane. Checked again whenever the app comes back to the front.
• Fewer permission pop-ups: without Full Disk Access the Photos and Music libraries are left out of the scan, so macOS no longer asks for them.
• Duplicate finder shows a notice while the project-folder link check runs.
• Only one copy runs at a time: launching a new build quits the old one, so the menu bar never shows two icons.

• Star White, a light theme. Every text, status and button colour was checked for contrast (WCAG AA or better), so nothing fades into the background.
• New icon: a serrated mint leaf over the Mac mini, drawn in code so it matches every theme. The website favicon is now the leaf alone.
• Text and controls take their colour from the theme everywhere; white text only sits on solid green buttons.
• Vietnamese interface: remaining English strings translated, dates shown in the app language.
• Fresh screenshots in English and Vietnamese.

What's new

• Clean by App: Zalo, Chrome, Edge, Cốc Cốc and CapCut each get their own page. Caches are pre-selected; photos, videos and files are listed by month for you to pick; messages, logins and projects are locked. Cleaning is refused while the app is open.
• Undo: every clean is recorded. The Trash page and the result screen put the last run back while it is still in the Trash.
• Simpler first screen: Clean Now scans, shows what is safe to clean by group, and cleans only when you press Clean. Advanced pages fold away in the sidebar.
• Safety level on every cleanup group with a plain explanation of what happens after cleaning.
• Uninstaller: only files matched by bundle id are pre-selected. Name matches and anything holding a database are listed but left for you.
• Startup Items show who signed each item (codesign, spctl) and flag unusual locations or names. Facts, not antivirus.
• Update check: once a day the app reads the latest version number from tidymint.app and shows a line in Settings when a newer build exists. Nothing about your Mac is sent, nothing is installed automatically.
• Darker mint theme, glass bubbles in Space Lens.

Install: download Tidymint.zip, open it and drag Tidymint to Applications. Tidymint is not notarized yet, so macOS blocks the first launch: click Done, then System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway. Then turn on Tidymint under Full Disk Access.
