NBN 2.0.1
NBN 2.0.1 is a patch release focused on External World / IO control coverage and Workbench operator visibility.
Highlights
- External World IO control expanded: IO now exposes placement worker-capacity snapshots for external clients, an IO kill wrapper for external sessions, output-vector source selection through IO, and per-brain output-vector-source overrides instead of only one global setting.
- Workbench Speciation is easier to operate: the pane now shows epoch inventory and active epoch state, and one epoch selector applies consistently to counts, trend cards, flow, split-proximity, and cladogram views.
- Runtime load is much easier to read from Workbench: Orchestrator and Debug both surface aggregate worker resource usage, current and recent worker pressure, recent tick timeout/lateness, and whether HiveMind has automatically reduced cadence under backpressure.
- Local-launch networking is clearer: the local advertise host now defaults to the resolved LAN/default advertised IP, lives in the Local Launch card, and still supports explicit Tailscale, alternate LAN, or forwarded public/global IP overrides when needed.
Operator notes
- For Local Launch deployments behind overlays or NAT, set the advertise host explicitly when peers should reach the machine through Tailscale or a forwarded public address; otherwise the default resolved LAN/default advertised IP should be sufficient.
