Roadmap

0.1 — Decoder: container, HEVC intra, conformance, real photos, metadata, image integration, WebAssembly, fuzzing
Faster single-threaded decoding: matters most in the browser and for small images
HDR gain maps: Apple and ISO 21496-1, for full-brightness iPhone photos
ICC colour management: Display P3 and other embedded profiles
Encoder: HEIF writing and a minimal HEVC intra encoder; then better compression, 10-bit and alpha. As far as we know, it would be the first pure-Rust HEIC encoder.

Ideas and requests are welcome in the issues.
