First release of HarperFast/deploy-action. It deploys a Harper application from GitHub Actions, and it can run a preview deployment for each pull request.
- Deploys use GitHub OIDC by default. The cluster trusts the workflow, so no long-lived credential is stored in the repository.
- PR previews (
preview: true) run underpull_request_targetfrom the default branch. Each PR gets its own isolated component on the cluster, with a branched database by default. The action keeps one PR comment and a GitHub deployment up to date, and drops the preview when the PR closes. - Sweeps remove the previews of PRs that are already closed when the workflow runs on a schedule.
Set up the cluster side with harper preview setup (Harper 5.4+), then start from examples/preview.yaml. The README covers the inputs, permissions and security model.
