@HarperZ9 HarperZ9 released this 15 Aug 07:11

Live Skyrim engine state published as ENB shader parameters, a shared-memory channel, and Papyrus natives.

Staging build. Not tested in-game yet. The Nexus upload will be the official release; this exists so the packaging and the exclusion can be checked by someone other than the build machine.

What it does

SkyrimBridge measures engine state each frame through SKSE/CommonLibSSE-NG and publishes it three ways: SB_* float4 shader parameters over the ENB SDK, a shared-memory channel for external tools, and Papyrus native functions for mod authors. The frame driver is ENB's BeginFrame callback. Without ENB present the plugin logs that and stays idle, and every published value defaults to zero when the plugin is absent or idle.

Also in the box: the weather workshop with live record editing and preset hot-reload, the engine-exposure spine (generic record read / write / verify), foreign-format texture and model codecs, collision generation, and an optional GPU proxy.

What is deliberately not in this build

SkyrimBridge's native ENB-plugin replacement suite reimplements plugins by Kitsuune (LonelyKitsuune) — KreatE, AELAS/EVLaS, ELIF, Native EditorID Fix, and ENB Worldspace Weatherlists — derived by reverse-engineering their compiled binaries. That is not clean-room, and distributing it needs their permission, which has not been requested or granted.

This archive is built with -DSKYRIMBRIDGE_NATIVE_REPLACEMENTS=OFF, so the suite is absent from the binary, not merely switched off: an inert copy would still be a copy. tests/validate_release_package.py --release enforces that against the shipped bytes and fails the build if any of it is present.

What still works: SkyrimBridge detects Kitsuune's plugins and defers to them, so if you already run KreatE, ELIF, EVLaS/AELAS, Native EditorID Fix, or ENB Worldspace Weatherlists, nothing here competes with them. The weather workshop takes form names from whichever EditorID provider you have installed, and names weathers by FormID when there is none.

Full attribution and provenance are in Docs/CREDITS.md. Read it before redistributing anything.

Verification

Offline validation suite: 18 harnesses passing, including deterministic packaging, the texture and model codecs, collision generation and material mapping, CMSD, and tree wind. The archive is byte-reproducible across two runs, ships a content-hash manifest, and carries a SHA-256 sidecar.

Not covered by any of that: the live SE/AE and ENB 0.504 acceptance gates. Those are game-bound and unrun. Treat this as staging, not as something to put in a load order you care about.

Requirements

Skyrim SE or AE, SKSE64, and Address Library. ENB is what the parameters publish to; without it the plugin idles.
