hipmmcode v1.3.1

Choose a tag to compare

@SwarmPathAI SwarmPathAI released this 02 Nov 19:19

v1.3.1 What's new

The welcome screen now shows HM Bot in coloured braille dots. A turn looks and behaves like Claude Code 2.1.316.

• Welcome mark. A 12-row coloured braille HM Bot: spring antenna, gold headband, gold headset, winking smile and blue scarf.
• Live status. The spinner names the real action (Reading, Writing, Running a web search), with elapsed time, tokens and thinking.
• ultrathink. Typing ultrathink raises effort to xhigh, or the model's top level, for that turn. CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_ULTRATHINK=1 turns it off.
• Markdown. Italic, bold italic, strikethrough, autolinks, nested ordered lists, quote bars, escapes and line-end backslashes render as in Claude Code.
• Steady streaming. What you see while a reply is being written is what stays when it ends. The reply keeps a blank row below the tool group. An unfinished heading, list item or inline code waits until its line is done, a table appears once it is complete, and reasoning before a call no longer shows twice.
• Line width. On Linux and Windows a reply row fills the terminal as in Claude Code, so a closing 。 stays on its line. macOS keeps two columns free for its wide ⏺. Mixed Chinese and English still wraps by character.
• Remote control. The corner above the input shows the /rc and /rcl state (● /rcl active, ○ /rc /rcl off); the effort stays in the footer. /rcl reaches the local relay directly, so a system proxy (Clash, Surge) no longer answers 502.
• Phone control. New /remote-control-sessions (/rcs): every Remote Control session on this computer (/rc, /rcl, started from a phone) with the phones connected to each; disconnect or end one, show its QR code, disconnect a phone and remove its SSH key. hipmmcode remote-control --list prints the same list; --disable / --enable turn it off and on for the whole computer. Slash commands sent from a phone never leave a dialog waiting here: usage, status and context come back as text, and terminal-only commands say why they did not run. The phone can send pictures and PDFs (attached to that turn), complete @ file paths in the session folder, and review the diff. It can also browse and open files in the session folder (sensitive files such as ~/.ssh are refused) and pick up a saved conversation again (started with --resume in that session's tmux). A session started from a phone no longer stops at the folder-trust prompt.
• Slash menu and MCP. Fuzzy search ranks commands the same way. MCP servers get progress, elicitation forms, list refreshes, resource templates and argument completion.
• Permissions. permissions.blockWritesOutsideWorkingDirectories stops Write, Edit and NotebookEdit outside the working directories in every mode. A call a rule denies shows Not run · permission denied and the reason.
• Shell timeouts. A command that reaches its timeout moves to the background with the output so far.
• Compaction. A reply with no summary is asked for once more before falling back.

Platforms: macOS (Apple Silicon, Intel, and universal; Developer ID signed, not notarized this cut), Linux (x64 and arm64, musl static), and Windows (x64, unsigned). Check downloads against SHA256SUMS.

@SwarmPathAI SwarmPathAI released this 29 Oct 10:25

What's new in v1.3.0

The fullscreen terminal picks up the panels and session tools that were missing from the previous cut. Open them from the slash menu instead of leaving the screen.

  • Session tools. Resume, rewind, import, and export stay inside the TUI. A restart returns to the same session.
  • Review and settings. Code review, the diff, model, effort, theme, hooks, memory, and permissions each have their own panel.
  • Agents. The footer lists teammates, and the agent tree shows who is working.

Platforms: macOS (Apple Silicon, Intel, and universal; Developer ID signed, notarization accepted, standalone binary not stapled), Linux (x64 and arm64, musl static), and Windows (x64, unsigned). Check downloads against SHA256SUMS.

hipmmcode v1.2.3

@SwarmPathAI SwarmPathAI released this 25 Oct 20:52

HiPMMCode v1.2.3

On Windows, Ctrl+V pastes a copied picture. Drag-select copies the text, and Ctrl+V pastes that selection. A PowerShell script that contains Chinese is no longer read as the wrong encoding.

  • One Ctrl+V for pictures and text. In PowerShell or Windows Terminal, a picture clipboard inserts [Image #N]. A text-only clipboard still pastes text.
  • Drag to copy. Drag across the transcript and release. The bottom bar reports the copy, and Ctrl+V pastes that text.
  • Chinese PowerShell scripts. A .ps1 that contains Chinese is saved as UTF-8 with a BOM. Windows PowerShell 5.1 reads it as Unicode.

Platforms: macOS (Apple Silicon, Intel, and universal; Developer ID signed and notarized this cut), Linux (x64 and arm64, musl static), and Windows (x64, unsigned). Check downloads against SHA256SUMS.

@SwarmPathAI SwarmPathAI released this 18 Oct 04:46

HiPMMCode v1.2.2

While a reply is being spoken, Pause and Stop stay on the bottom bar. A gray next-line suggestion no longer covers them.

  • Voice controls stay up. /voice talk and /voice speak keep Pause and Stop for the whole playback. The suggestion hint returns after the audio finishes.

Platforms: macOS (Apple Silicon, Intel, and universal; Developer ID signed, not notarized this cut), Linux (x64 and arm64, musl static), and Windows (x64, unsigned). Check downloads against SHA256SUMS.

hipmmcode v1.2.1

@SwarmPathAI SwarmPathAI released this 12 Oct 07:21

HiPMMCode v1.2.1

AskUserQuestion no longer stacks two Continuing… lines or two empty input rows. A Chinese reply no longer leaves one wide character on its own line.

  • One status line. The 100ms tick redraws the whole frame. It does not stamp Continuing… onto a remembered row. The empty hint stays on one row.
  • Chinese wrap. Assistant text is wrapped once, so 可, 严, and 湾, are not peeled onto a line by themselves. The user bar stops two columns short of the right edge.

Platforms: macOS (Apple Silicon, Intel, and universal; Developer ID signed, not notarized this cut), Linux (x64 and arm64, musl static), and Windows (x64, unsigned). Check downloads against SHA256SUMS.

HiPMMCode Desktop 1.2.1

Choose a tag to compare

@SwarmPathAI SwarmPathAI released this 13 Oct 11:10

HiPMMCode Desktop 1.2.1 bundles the HiPMMCode CLI v1.2.1. The Host bridge stays 1.0.0. The desktop version and the bundled CLI version are independent.

This tag is desktop-v1.2.1. Do not mark it as the GitHub Latest release. Latest stays on the CLI line, v1.2.1.

In-place updates

Settings → Updates checks GitHub tags named desktop-v*. It does not look at the CLI Latest release. The check runs at most once a day and does not install by itself. When a newer desktop release is published, an in-place install button appears. Installing replaces HiPMMCode on this computer and opens it again. Chats, models, and settings stay on this computer.

Packages

Verify every download against SHA256SUMS before you install it.

  • macOS Apple Silicon (aarch64-apple-darwin-HiPMMCode_1.2.1_aarch64.dmg, aarch64-apple-darwin-HiPMMCode.app.zip) and macOS Intel (x86_64-apple-darwin-HiPMMCode_1.2.1_x64.dmg, x86_64-apple-darwin-HiPMMCode.app.zip): Developer ID signed. Not notarized and not stapled. Gatekeeper may ask you to confirm the first time you open the app.
  • Windows x64 (x86_64-pc-windows-msvc-HiPMMCode_1.2.1_x64-setup.exe): unsigned NSIS installer. Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may warn. There is no Authenticode certificate on this build.
  • Linux x64 (x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu-HiPMMCode_1.2.1_amd64.AppImage, x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu-HiPMMCode_1.2.1_amd64.deb): unsigned.

HiPMMCode Desktop 1.2.0

@SwarmPathAI SwarmPathAI released this 09 Oct 03:38

HiPMMCode Desktop 1.2.0

The desktop app and web UI are 1.2.0. This build bundles CLI v1.2.0. The host bridge stays 1.0.0. Desktop and CLI versions stay independent. hipmmcode update replaces the CLI only.

  • Surfaces. Light mode uses canvas #f8f9fa, white panels, and indigo #4f46e5. Dark mode uses obsidian #0d0f12, panels #16191f, and accent #6366f1.
  • Type. The interface uses SF Pro, Inter, and PingFang SC.
  • Glass panels. Language, system prompt, session info, the branch list, slash commands, and the voice bar open as frosted glass: a translucent panel, backdrop blur, and a 12–16px radius.
  • Shared controls. Room actions and the voice call bar use the same primary, secondary, and danger buttons. Control Center, provider health, MCP rows, the skills library, the directory picker, the onboarding tour, font-size choices, and room markdown share those surfaces, shadows, and type.
  • Phone progress. The first progress line for a local agent waits five seconds. Later lines stay at most four seconds apart. An empty step says 「处理中」.

Packages in this release: macOS Apple Silicon and Intel (app zip and DMG), plus Linux x64 AppImage and deb. The Windows installer is not in this release.

macOS packages are Developer ID signed. They are not notarized or stapled, so Gatekeeper may ask on first launch. Linux packages are unsigned. Check downloads against SHA256SUMS. Tag: desktop-v1.2.0. Do not mark this release as GitHub Latest. Latest remains the CLI line.

@SwarmPathAI SwarmPathAI released this 09 Oct 03:11

HiPMMCode v1.2.0

The fullscreen TUI no longer leaves a frozen second Continuing… line. hipmmcode update can still find the latest CLI release when the GitHub API does not answer.

  • One status row. After a question or leaving plan mode moves the spinner, the 100ms tick does not write Continuing… on the previous row.
  • Update without the API. A failed latest-release call follows releases/latest and accepts only a plain vX.Y.Z tag. desktop-v* tags are ignored.

Platforms: macOS (Apple Silicon, Intel, and universal), Linux (x64 and arm64, musl static), and Windows (x64). Check downloads against SHA256SUMS. Tag: v1.2.0.

macOS binaries are Developer ID signed. They are not notarized for this release. Linux and Windows builds are unsigned. Desktop builds stay on their own version line.

HiPMMCode Desktop 1.1.9

@SwarmPathAI SwarmPathAI released this 04 Oct 02:59

HiPMMCode Desktop 1.1.9

Web UI and desktop shell are 1.1.9. This desktop build bundles CLI v1.1.6. Desktop and CLI versions stay independent.

Release tag: desktop-v1.1.9. Do not mark this tag as GitHub Latest. Latest remains CLI v1.1.6.

Changes

  • The project list shows the folder name, with the last two parent folders as a quiet subtitle.
  • Choosing a folder opens the system folder window. When that window is not available, the in-app picker starts at Home, hides dot folders, and offers Home, Desktop, Documents, and Downloads.
  • The file tree colors icons by type. Changed files and their parent folders keep a visible mark.
  • A repository with one checkout does not add a second sidebar row. Several checkouts can still be switched.
  • Under Conversations, the project is indented one step and its sessions another, with a quiet guide line.
  • A new conversation opens on a centered title and one composer card. On the empty home the composer is its own card, and a click inside the card types.
  • Starting a conversation in a folder creates one empty session. After that session sends a message, the next new conversation can open another.
  • The sidebar file tree updates when a file appears or disappears in the project. Opening a collapsed tree shows the new file.
  • Control Center navigation is a quiet list. Its pages use softer cards, and setting switches are toggles. A narrow window reflows those cards and buttons inside the content pane.
  • The pairing QR stays in the top host card, in the same place before and after the computer connects.
  • A desktop realtime call can look up news, prices, net worth, weather, and other current facts. That call does not receive long-term memory, a stored name, or the text-chat briefing.
  • The caption highlights the words already spoken in the current sentence. When that sentence finishes playing, the call returns to listening.
  • While a local agent is still working on a phone turn, the first progress line waits two seconds and later lines are at most four seconds apart. An empty step says 「处理中」.

HiPMMCode Desktop 1.1.8

Choose a tag to compare

@SwarmPathAI SwarmPathAI released this 01 Oct 09:54

HiPMMCode Desktop 1.1.8

Web UI and the desktop shell are 1.1.8. The bundled CLI stays v1.1.6. Bundled Node is 22.20.0.

Phone file delivery

A phone request sends the files the user named.

  • One named file sends that file.
  • “All of them,” or several full filenames, sends that set.
  • If the match is ambiguous, the phone asks and sends nothing until the user confirms.
  • “Send the rest” sends the files from that choice that have not gone out yet.
  • A different sentence cancels the choice and is answered as a normal turn.
  • A file generated for a phone request is delivered from that agent’s workspace. If a tool writes it outside the workspace, the desktop copies that file into the workspace and then sends it.

Signing

Platform Status
macOS Apple Silicon Developer ID signed, notarized, and stapl
macOS Intel Developer ID signed, notarized, and stapled
Windows Unsigned. SmartScreen may warn on first launch
Linux AppImage and deb Unsigned
