Project colors

• Twelve dedicated project colors, with separate light and dark values.
• A wider default cycle: blue, yellow, red, green, cyan, purple, lime, orange, indigo, pink and teal.
• Existing custom project colors are preserved. Project colors remain independent of card status colors.

Update from alpha.1

In Planche, open Settings → Check for updates, then choose Download update → Install and restart. After restarting, check that your session, projects and preferences are still available.

Manual installation

Requires an Apple Silicon Mac and macOS 15 or later. Download the DMG, drag Planche into Applications, then launch it.

This alpha is ad hoc signed and is not notarized by Apple. If macOS blocks the first launch, follow Apple's Open Anyway instructions.

Planche 0.1.0-alpha.1

First installable Planche alpha for GitHub Projects v2.

Requirements

• Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later).
• macOS 15 or later.

Installation

1. Download Planche_0.1.0-alpha.1_aarch64.dmg below.
2. Open the DMG and drag Planche into Applications.
3. Launch Planche and sign in with GitHub. A classic personal access token is also supported.

This alpha is ad hoc signed and is not notarized by Apple. If macOS blocks the first launch, follow Apple's Open Anyway instructions in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Included

• GitHub Projects boards, keyboard actions and an offline cache.
• Session and local data preserved across restarts.
• Signed in-app updates, with installation and restart requested by the user.
• Migration fix for existing caches showing no such column: complete.

A complete update between two published versions still needs validation. Please report reproducible problems in GitHub issues.

Package refresh

The alpha.1 downloads have been rebuilt from commit 6b8266d with the Todo → Done installer and current native app icon. The original release tag is retained.

The version remains 0.1.0-alpha.1. Existing alpha.1 installations will report up to date; download the refreshed DMG and replace Planche manually to use this build. Testing an in-app upgrade requires a later version.

Installer layout

The DMG layout was recentered in commit 6df2036. It now shows just the Todo → Done board and “drag&drop planche into Applications”, with extra room below the instruction. The application and signed updater archive are unchanged.

The app reads latest.json from this release. Download installers from the versioned alpha releases.
