SalmonLauncher v1.0.3

A Minecraft Java Edition launcher built with WinUI 3 / Windows App SDK and .NET 10.

Changed in this release

  • Product name unified to SalmonLauncher (previously Salmon Launcher): window title, About page, legal texts, installer application name, install folder and Start menu shortcut now all use the no-space name
  • All source comments translated to English (C# and XAML), making the repository English-first; runtime localization keys stayed untouched, so Chinese / Traditional Chinese / Japanese UI is unaffected
  • README language switcher lists English first in README.md, README.zh-CN.md, README.zh-Hant.md and README.ja.md
  • Installer still ships a four-language setup wizard (Simplified Chinese / Traditional Chinese / English / Japanese)
  • Version bumped to 1.0.3

Both packages bundle the complete .NET 10 and Windows App SDK runtimes — no separate runtime installation is needed. The installer is unsigned, so SmartScreen may warn on first run. Uninstalling keeps instances and saves under %APPDATA%\SalmonLauncher.

Known limitations

  • Multiplayer public relay depends on an external server; this version ships local loopback signalling only
  • The installer is unsigned (no code-signing certificate)
