The 'Nervous Rebel' Encounter is the 10th encounter made for the throne room, it has a few criteria, firstly the encounter is much rarer if the rebels hold more land than you, if the rebels hold more land it has a 45 rarity, and if not a 6 rarity, the encounter requires the king allows rabble in his court, and also that the rebels have at least 1 soldier and at least 1 land.

The encounter starts off with one of 8 different possible encounter texts,

  • you are visited by a nervous man, he claims to have once served as one of the personal guard of Faradal the Kinslayer, the leader of the rebellion, he claims that he has done a great many crimes against Aslona but seeks you to either offer him a place in your army so that he may make amends, or offer him a place among the dead to pay for his deeds

  • you are visited by a man who claims to have been part of a largely rebel village, he lived among them and was shunned for speaking well of the crown, as a result he has come to serve you

  • you are visited by a man who claims to have fought with Faradal the Kinslayer, the leader of the rebellion, he clams he had no choice but now he does and he chooses to fight for Aslona, if you will allow it

  • you are visited by a man who claims to have lived within the walls of a rebel settlement, he claims his heart has always been loyal to the crown and that he wishes to fight for Aslona

  • you are visited by a nervous man, he claims to have served under Faradal the kinslayer, the leader of the rebellion, he asks for your forgiveness and begs to join your ranks to fight the rebellion he was once part of

  • you are visited by a nervous man, he claims to have served under Faradal the kinslayer, the leader of the rebellion, he says he has become disillusioned with the rebellion and seeks forgiveness

  • you are visited by a nervous man, he claims to have served under Faradal the kinslayer, the leader of the rebellion, he says he was tricked into fighting for them and claims they are no better than bandits

  • you are visited by a nervous man, he claims to have served under Faradal the kinslayer, the leader of the rebellion, he begs for your forgiveness and says that his time with the rebels taught him where his allegiance truly lay

your options are the same regardless of what encounter text you get

  • Allow them to enlist (+1 soldier)(-1 rebel)
  • To the dungeons (+1 prisoner)(-1 rebel)
  • Kill them (-1 rebel)
  • Return them to the rebels

the most logical option in this encounter is to allow them to enlist as it has the most beneficial effect, however there are plans to add risks to having ex rebels among your men!
