Hotfix release on the H1 2026 (v5.70.159) line. No functional or configuration changes.

Security

  • Public, Azure CC and GCP operator images move to eclipse-temurin:21.0.13_9-jre-alpine-3.23. The OS CA bundle (ca-certificates-20261020) and JDK cacerts no longer trust the distrusted emSign ECC Root CA - G3 and AAA Certificate Services roots. The Azure CC and GCP images no longer ship pip or ensurepip, whose vendored certifi bundle still contained both roots. ( PR: #2821 )
  • Dependency vulnerability fixes cherry-picked from main: Netty 4.1.137.Final, Jackson 2.21.7, urllib3 2.8.0, plus .trivyignore updates. ( PR: #2821 )

Build

  • Azure artifact jobs pin the confcom extension instead of azure-cli, so they run on Ubuntu 26.04 runners. ( PR: #2825 )
